Butte Community Clean Up Blacktail Stream Day

Join the Clark Fork Watershed Education Program, community volunteers, and students from Whittier Elementary, West Elementary, and East Middle School to help improve stream habitat for fish as well as the overall appearance of Blacktail Stream for the Butte Community. Businesses and community members are encouraged and needed to join the effort!

Schedule:

May 24, 2018

8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Volunteer Check-In/Registration
Volunteers can register at either Father Sheehan Park or The Butte Chamber of Commerce.

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM:  Safety Presentation

9:30 AM – 11:30 AM:  Creek Cleanup

11:30 AM: Pizza Lunch!

Volunteers Will:

  • Assist elementary & middle school students in cleanup efforts.
  • Ensure safety of students.
  • Receive free coffee!
  • Receive free lunch!

What to Bring

Trash bags are provided. If you are able to please bring your:

  • Gloves
  • Rakes
  • Waders
