For Educators & Schools
Would your class like to join us for a drain marking event in the Spring? We plan to install drain markers in the neighborhood north of Park street and between Kennedy School and Excelsior Street in the Spring of 2023. CFWEP will come to your classroom and teach a lesson about the importance of responsible stormwater practices and then take your students outside, clear the storm drains of debris and install markers proclaiming “Only Rain in the Drain.”
For Businesses
Contact us to provide stormwater management training for your business or construction project to comply with Butte’s stormwater management regulations.
In January 2023, we will be holding a construction industry training for smaller construction contractors as a friendly reminder of current stormwater management regulations and best practices.

Clean Up Blacktail Streams Week (CUBS Week)
Join us May 8-12, 2023 for CUBs Week when students from the Butte School District pick up trash around their schools, Whiskey Gulch, Silver Bow Creek and Blacktail Creek. Adult volunteers welcome! If you are organizing a workplace or neighborhood clean up and would like us to help celebrate your efforts and recruit volunteers during our Earth Month Celebration from April 22-May 22, let us know.
